Corporate Golf

Ipswich Golf Club is a Championship 18-hole golf course that has been the home of the Queensland Open Golf Championship for the past two years.

The Ipswich Golf Club is located just 5 minutes from the centre of Ipswich city, and has excellent views of the RAAF Amberley Air Base. The Ipswich Golf Club is situated in natural surrounds and has a challenging layout that rewards good golf shots and penalises bad ones. The Ipswich Golf Club Clubhouse is a fully catered facility which has the second largest number of Poker Machines in the Brisbane area.

Signage / Banners

The Ipswich Golf Club is more than happy to erect your corporate day’s sponsor’s banners. Banners must be received at the Reception Desk by 5pm, a minimum of two (2) days prior to your corporate day.

Registration

A registration table can be set up for you in front of the Pro Shop.

Drinks Cart

A Drinks cart can be arranged to service your corporate day guests beverage requirements whilst out on the course for a small price. Stationery drink stations can also be arranged, price on application. The Clubhouse is also accessible from a number of holes to ensure everyone remains refreshed.

Motorised Buggies

Motorised Buggies can be arranged to suit your Corporate Day requirements. The Pro Shop currently has available for hire at a price of $35.00 per cart. Additional Buggies can be arranged (Price on Application).

Competitions / Scorecards

Any type of competition can be catered for, the most common event formats for corporate days are:

  • Ambrose (Played in teams of 2, 3 or 4 golfers. The Ipswich Golf Club believes in fair play, and therefore recommend that all golfers use their AGU or WGA handicaps, otherwise, men play off a maximum of 24, and ladies play off a maximum of 36.)
  • Single Stableford (Golfers compete as individuals and their handicaps are deducted from their score after each hole is completed to determine their Stableford score. The player with the most points is deemed to be the winner.)
  • Other event formats can also be arranged upon booking your corporate golf day.
